HID Match To Silverstar?
hey, well i need a little help, i miss my high beam, and prolly be going back to silver stars in the headlights. But will keep them in my fogs. Now i know the silver star wont be near as bright as the HID, but what Kelvin/Temp would be closest to the color of a silver star,
4300 or 5000?
Thanks
Daniel

Matt05 has 5000K in his fogs, and there is a picture he posted in my HID thread under "calling tuff4rd" if that helps... 4300K is stock i believe... that's what it said on my silverstar package before i ripped it open
P.S. Did a little modding to the sig I made ya

I've seen a lot of people saying the Silverstar 9005 bulb works well as a replacement foglight bulb. Any further issues with this? Also, are the Ultras just the same bulb, but made to last longer? Ordered H13XVs for the headlights and want to upgrade the fogs, too. Just don't want to risk any damage to the foglights. Heard some bulbs would melt the lens?
I have had SS in my heads and fogs for a couple months now and show no signs of melting... They are used a combined total of a hour or a little less per day... 9005 in the fogs and 9145(h13) in the heads... I love 'em
