Lightbulb HID Match To Silverstar?

hey, well i need a little help, i miss my high beam, and prolly be going back to silver stars in the headlights. But will keep them in my fogs. Now i know the silver star wont be near as bright as the HID, but what Kelvin/Temp would be closest to the color of a silver star,
4300 or 5000?

Thanks
Daniel

Id go with 14000k.

J/K. I have not seen enough HIDs up close so I don't know what would be close. But some one should be able to help you out.

The 4300K Hid's would go best with what you are trying to do IMO..

I've seen a lot of people saying the Silverstar 9005 bulb works well as a replacement foglight bulb. Any further issues with this? Also, are the Ultras just the same bulb, but made to last longer? Ordered H13XVs for the headlights and want to upgrade the fogs, too. Just don't want to risk any damage to the foglights. Heard some bulbs would melt the lens?

I have had SS in my heads and fogs for a couple months now and show no signs of melting... They are used a combined total of a hour or a little less per day... 9005 in the fogs and 9145(h13) in the heads... I love 'em
