Which Supercharger?? Help out!!

A VB will help with longevity. It won't work miracles.
An aux cooler will help with longevity. It won't work miracles either.
You'll find that a lot of blown guys put a VB or separator plate in...for a reason. Same with an aux cooler.

Just so were clear, I have zero firsthand experience w/ an 04+ supercharged F150. My firsthand expierience comes from powerstroke diesel and an 03 Cobra.
L had a 4R100, same tranny in the Navi and Powerstroke from early 99 to 03, much stronger than this one apparently and is WELL known, apples and oranges in my opinion.

Right on.
I didn't mean to disrespect you in any way.
And I apologize if it came across that way.

Weazel to answer your question from before- The only real difference I see in the powerworks, steeda, and magnuson kits is the tuning. They all come with the same components but at different prices. Powerworks seems to have the best price but I went straight through magnuson since I have a dealer account setup with them.

What are you basing this on? A twin screw and a centrifugal are two totally different animals. For a daily driver a twin screw or roots would be the best in my opinion since they make power throughout the power band especially down low. A centrifugal makes boost based on rpm which therefore can make as much or more power up top but lacks down low compared to the other two.

And many of us have aux trans coolers in addition to the factory one.
There are a lot of us with supercharged motors and we are all pushing the limits. Some guys have already ballooned their TCs.
I've got a Procharger pushing 410 lb-ft of torque to the wheels. I have an additional cooler as well as an Art Carr valve body (thought I'd get a Factory Tech if I could do it over again). My E4OD has gone 135K miles, and I tow a 7,000-lb. boat thru the desert. Still going strong after 10 years
Many folks with tranny troubles race their trucks at the track. A lot of us street guys have had no trouble, but that's not to say that there haven't been any failures for non-raced trucks.
A lot of this has been covered on older posts.

your E4OD is much stronger than a 4r75. i have an e4 in the shed and it's made to take it. watch for the ouput shaft coming out of the tailshaft. mine did.

The parts are almost the same with the exception of a few minor things.
Different logos on the intakes and powerworks went with a black upper radiator hose and the others went with silver.
All 3 PCMs are sent out and tuned by Mahle which is Powerworks
2 of my boxes came from Magnuson while 1 small one came from Powerworks...
I knew I was somewhat close
Drew do you know if mahle/powerworks has a calibration for the '07s yet? If so I might be ditchin this diablo thing and going that route since it has been over 2 months now and they are still trying to get it right.

In the big picture, you would be better off with their initial calibration which others can fine tune..... or mess up
but you would still have a base to go back to or work from.
