$262.14 out the door for all 5 handles...These arent the LT handles but the PTM FX2 handles.I got them from a local Ford dealership (Northport Ford) and i got to use a tax ID and discount from the bodyshop that painted my Lariat flares

 

Do the PTM FX2 handles have chrome center handles if so send them over my way (right color match )

now how much do you think it will cost to get painted.......i can get the already painted with chrome handle for $270 shipped to my door......at $262 you still have to get yours painted right?....i was just looking for somewhere cheaper if there is such a place....

 

You bring a valid point to this argument - from a financial perspective that is...

Kind of pricey for a set of handles not to come pre-painted -- versus that of the LT handle which is pre-painted. I just wish you could get them **without** the chrome handle.

 

i second that......not a big chrome fan, but on my truck i think it will look good...i have the chrome front and rear bumpers along with the chrome OEM step rails.....mine looks alot like "rms8"'s truck.....

 

Agreed... I have no chrome - other than the lug covers - thus, with the AZ beige, I don't think it'll look right at all on mine.

 

260 seems steep for door handles. i bought a set of billet handles for 30 bucks and just sanded and painted my old buckets.

 

So if i was lookin for the LT handles, they are already painted some LT color and dont come unpainted or primed?? I have bright red and already know ill have to get them painted, i just like the chrome handle instead of the painted handle like the FX2. But i guess if it came down to it I could do the FX2 handles and the chrome putco overlay deals for the handle pull portion. .

Hmm... A little confused by your post...

The LT handles come pre-painted (the paint codes cross over to several F-150 colors) and feature the chrome handle already in place.

The Paint to Match handles are unpainted and have no chrome. This is also known as the FX2 handle.

Doesn't the LT come in bright red? If so, the combo exists out of the package rather than having them painted.

 

I was under the impression that the LT didnt come in bright red, but if it does that would be a plus! I knew the FX2 handles where unpainted and had no chrome, but id like the chrome pull to go w/ the chrome steps on my truck. Sorry for the confusing post, sometimes i must type away and make no sense at all. .

Hey Labman, where are you getting all 5 handles shipped for 270? I would like to add LT handles to my truck. I looked around and the cheapest I have found them was over 300.

 

fordparts.com....they were $282, my bad....i have found out that the price changes due to color also........mine is smokestone..........my dealer wanted a lil over $450
