The F-150 finally gets a 6 speed!!!

Well on blueovalnews.com.... this is what they say and i have yet to see them wrong..

Manual or Auto?

Doesn't say anything about it being a manual or auto. I'm gonna guess they are referring to a 6-speed automatic, which I think is pointless in a truck. I'd rather see a 5-speed manual.

Hardly. I'll take either a 5 or 6-speed, just not this damn 4 speed transmission.

it was yesterday! it came out good i am satisfied. i just need some coilover for the front now.

Damn, guess I stand corrected. I was told it'd be a 5 speed slushbox.

They're building it at Livonia, so it's probably gonna based off the 6R60 in Exploders and Mountaineers, and so far in those applications it's been a pretty trouble free transmission.

Quintin, don't you work at a dealership? Don't you know the dealers are always the last to know?

Now if we only new the name of the new tranny...6R85 maybe? That means 425 lb/ft of capability for the tranny baby!!
