ford has done gone pissed me off

so i had a squeaking problem with my rear slider and i had to take it in 3 times and do my own research to find the TSB and they finally got it right on the third time by replacing the window...during this whole time i was the nicest person in the world to the service department. everytime i would have to leave the truck overnight and get a ride home from someone, then to work the next day and then to the dealership to pick up the truck....and everything i said something to the tune of "dont work about it" and "i understand" and i definately felt like they were trying their best

well when the i got the truck back and was very happy it was finally replaced....well i was looking closely at the back of the cab and there was a lot of grease between the cab and bed, but i let it slide and just was gonna clean it up...then i have be plans for the truck one which was to put done sound deadening mat, so friday i was taking out the back seat and found that the panel that over the back wall was all ripped up, one of the two clips that hold the back part of the back seat down was broken and one of the push pins was missing that hold the plastic trim down...

i understand if someone is trying to help me but if you are working on my truck and then half *** a job like that and then try to cover it up with the back seat thinking i would never notice. i am going to get really pissed off....so i took it to the dealership today and they were very apologetic and said the would take care of it and gave me a free loaner car, a tarus and i am driving it like i stole it

ill let yall know what happens tomorrow when they call me

I'd call ford customer care and report it before I take it back to the dealer, maybe sending them pictures of the mess they left your truck in.

yes...what stealth said... i'd be calling ford......and probably the general manager and/or owner of the dealer. that is NO way to repair a vehicle. i used to wrench at a couple of dealers here, and treated customers cars better than mine!!!!!!

Ain't no excuse for that. Find the service manager of your dealership and/or give Ford Customer Service a call.

X2 Reading things like this makes me realize how good I have it with my dealer.

Why do you say 'Ford?'

Sounds like a problem with a dealer who lacks in a quality service department. . go to a different dealer.

there is a big blue sign that say FORD in the front of the lot...just playing, i should have said dealership...

and this dealership has never done me wrong, so i had no reason to distrust them, and the next dealership is at least another 30-45 minutes away each way...and i just dont have time to go out there to drop off the truck for service and then get picked up and then go back the next day. or maybe i should just stop crying and cowboy up and take the truck to a good dealership

I know what you're going through. I'm sure you could dig up TONS of old threads about my problems with my last F-150, a 2004 model. I had the same problem with my local dealer, about 5 minutes away from my house. However I now drive 30-40 minutes away just to have quality service, its a lot less stress than having to deal with the chumps at the local dealer. I wish you the best luck though!
