Frame dampner???

Hey guys I took the truck into the dealer today for a vibration that I was feeling in the truck and in the steering wheel. The dealer says that they are ordering a frame dampner and will put it in in the morning. My Questions are: Has anyone had this done and did it fix the problem? Also, what excatly are they going to do to my truck. This this something that they just bolt onto the frame? Thanks for the input. Hopefully this fixes my problem.

Frame Damper

I actually had one of these installed on my 04. It was mounted at the rear of the truck on the driver side. It was bolted to the frame rail. It seemed to help with the truck vibration. All it is basically is just some type of weight that moves and absorbs the bumps so the frame doesn't have to which in turn stops the vibrations you feel in your seat. Hopefully this explains it clear enought and doesn't confuse you.

About like the 2# "balancer" that they hung on some of the earlier model exhaust systems...BS.....just another reason I worry if they will be able to continue sending my retirement checks...Oh yea, see where the "company savior" they just hired from Boeing does not drive a Ford?? Drives a Lexus.
