How much of my leather interior is really leather?

I bought my Lariat Screw used - and Ive heard that the leather interior isnt all leather (headrests back seat etc). The main reason for asking is I dont need to be wasting leather protector/cleaner on vinyl!

The lariets come with leather trimmed captains chairs. If you look close you can see which part is leather. The center portion of the 2 front seats, both bottom and back are real leather. The rest is.... i guess you could say vinyl. I have been using leather conditioner/cleaner since i bought my truck in 04 and seems to work just fine.

Are you using the leather cleaner on the parts that arent leather or do you use something else?

I use leather cleaner and conditioner on everything and it seems to do the job fine.

Using 2006 as the basis :
I have found ( from using Lexsol on everything ) that the leather parts are :
1. The seat bottom surface
2. The seat back surface and top
3. The head rest are leather.
4. The hump over the instrument cluster only ( not the parts around it, and the jury is still out on this one )
5. Arm rest cover on the console ( jury is still out here as well for 100% sure, think it is )

The seat sides and back are pleather ( mother of bar stool ), the complete back seat. The remainder of the dash is plastic as are the door panels.

This is from noting how the finish is when done. Pleather gets a VERY high gloss to it when Plexus is used on it, and the dash parts same thing. The big unknown is above the airbag on the pass side. It is a 50-50 thing, if it is the same material as the hump over the instrument cluster, which I am 65% aure is leather ( not as a gloss finish as the others ).

At the moment, call it an opinion. I have yet to confirm any of this with Ford, to be 100% sure. Try a test yourself, use leather conditioner on everyting, and see which shines the most. That would be pleather.
