How much light does it restrict? Cuz inthe pics it looks to really make it very dim. If theres one thing I really like about the 3rd light cluster is that it produces A LOT of light at night after exiting the truck.

1. First clean and sand the lens with 1,000 grit wet/dry paper keeping thing very wet. Sanding is critical as it provides a great surface for the VHT to adhere to.
2. Apply 3 coats of VHT letting the paint 'dry' about 10' between coats.
3. Sand with wet 2,000 grit paper
4. Spray with at least 3 coats of clear coat
5. Sand clear coat with 2,000 wet paper keeping things really wet.
6. Finally, polished the clear coat with plastic/plexiglass polish (either machine buffing or hand buffing works). The clear coat sealing prevents 'blueing' of the VHT Nite Shade.
7. Wax with your choice of waxes.
This method is totally cool. Looks great on my Black FX4.
