Got my mag-hytec rear diff cover here:

http://www.maghytec.com/index.asp?Pa...ATS&Category=4

When I got mine it was $228, they are $238 now, but free shipping and no tax. Very nice cover, powder-coated, has a built in seal, and some other nice features.

Yeah, I can feel the oil is cooler. It allows 1-2 xtra quarts of oil, which keeps it cooler. Also, the material dissipates heat easier. And there is a visual glass oil level marlk you can just check it by looking.

Haha! I think that visual glass mark is actually pretty convienent though. They made is such a pain in the **** where the plug is to actually check it and even at that you have to use a finger or a flashlight.

Alright Yoman, you know you would take off the differential cover on the rear axle. It is almost like the two bottom middle screws are loose and there is a small drip coming from there. It is not pouring out but if I run my hand under it I feel it. Does that make sense

hope that helps that is not a picture of my truck just the first one i found.

Shift pressure is not going to do anything to your rear end, we have some mighty diffs back there for stock applications.

Your tranny is the exception. I truthfully don't know how much damage if any you are doing to them.
