With the exception of about $600 in add ons, that is the same truck as the 05 I bought a year and a half ago. Your sticker is about $3000 more. Did not know they had gone up that much. If that price of $27587 does not include taxes, etc.. I think it is just a bit high. Bet you could get it out the door for that price.

The front license plate bracket..puts the deal over the top.. Close to what I paid but I got 0% for 60 months ..and the XLT chrome package which includs 18" chrome alloys. Screw or scab?

O% financing is something to take advantage of. Dealers in my area are now offering a best 2.9% financing

I paid around $29k w/ taxes for my '04 screw 4x4 with very similar options. This was when they were a relatively new body style, gas was cheap, and demand for the trucks was high. You can probably do a bit better.

It's a Screw. I'm looking at trading in my 04 Scab for this one. Dealer is giving me my payoff for the trade, $18500.

Going to drive it again tomorrow and see if any shakes or rattles are there.

Not bad, but you should be able to do better. With rebates, I got $10K off sticker with 2.9%. That was last month, so I imagine dealers are desperate to get these 06 models off their lots even more now.

Atlanta area dealers begin their discounts at $10k off sticker (rebates included in that amount). So with a bit of haggle, you could get more of a discount.
