The color of the high beam indicator would be cool.
EDIT: Is a new cluster (FX4) really $1000 new?

I'm also looking for changing anything green in the cluster, I can live with the green message center.

To answer the question - The LED's light spread evenly across all the instruments. There were no "hot spots" of light but the light was very very dim compared tot he stock bulbs..
So the overall light was much less and the green color was still there regardless of whether I used "super white" or "UV-Blacklight" LED
The UV lights were less than half the brightness of the super whites.
Bottom lines is that the green color still dominates regardless of what bulb I tried. Guess unless you want to remove that layer you are stuck with green.
The surface mount LED's (ac/radio and other controls) can be swapped but I wonder if there is that green layer on them as well?

I was thinking the same thing. We just bought a new Mustang, and almost everything about the dash is very similar to my truck, including the info buttons, and the display window. I wonder how hard it would be to swap out the items that would be needed to do the color thing.....by the way, I like it RED, and the wife always changes it back to blue???

there is no green layer I DO know that using a blue keychain led
I was on Moss Motors (f150store.com) and seen Gauge Face kits running like $250. My understanding is that they will change the color of the backlighting. Here's a link:
