To tell you the truth, I dont know. Probly not. That sounds like extensive work, the guages just look like an overlay. But they are blue, just like you asked

Yeah, but I want ALL lights to be blue (including the messege center).

If the insturment cluster is anything like the used on the Ford Escape then there is a thin green film behind the white face plate that makes the green color. Plus a green cover over the individual bulbs. You have to remove the needles and then gentley remove the white face which is glued down. Then sand away the thin green film. Replace the lights with your new bulbs and enjoy.

Probably not worth trying unless your prepared to buy a new cluster.
Someone over here in a different forum tried it, that didn't work for him.

While this post is up i figure i might ask... how would you change the bulbs on a 94 f150 and a 83 f100 the 94 i just want to know for when i need to replace them, the 83 has no working dash lights at all now, but i dont see a plug in and i hope that i dont have to remove the cluster to replace them

just a theory... but , if you all want the dash blue, anyone think of replacing the bulb with and amber bulb? yellow+green= blue. so in theory it should work right???

yah i experimented with my AC backer film and scratched the green off with a razor blade, then took some stain glass paint, like for crafts where you paint by number for those little window sunlight catchers. Anyways it looks ok, i needed to go back and make another more uniform layer with a better paint brush, but it looked like it could work.

I never got into doing it with the speedo cluster. I know there was a guy here atleast 6 months ago that used i believe blue incondescent paint for his, turned out really nice.

Oh and i still havent been able to change the small *** indicator at the end that points, its still green

I bet I could take care of the cluster. I've converted many dashes and switched to blue and white. If I ever feel like It I know the perfect way to go white

I will after I have a chance to test it myself. as I don't want everyone destroying their gauges and blaming me

anyone have removal and disassembly pics/instructions I'f I can get in there I think we might have a fix for the gauges

And that hi-beam indicator blue is a beautiful color. I love the Lariat gauges but what lights are you trying to change out? The bulbs in my window switches go out all the time, need replacing. You're not talking about the actual green that lights up the notches on the gauges, speedo, etc. are you.
