Talking

Just picked up mine at autozone H13ST and fog lights. They only had one set of each. They did not even have a spot for the H13ST on there shelf but the manager found 2 in the back I also asked him about the silverstar ultras he said the were still working on them Those were the ones I wanted but these will do untill then. Thanks for the posts.

You didn't take any pics of the 9145ST in action before returning them did you? I'd like to see a shot showing the difference b/t the 9145 and 9005's... I may end up trying those out if they're really that much better and don't blind other drivers too badly...

sorry, no pics,

but I can say the 9005ST in the fogs are super, fogs now shine out as far as the lows on the headlights and fill in both sides of the headlight pattern..
work very well with the H13ST...
Glad I took the 9145ST back....
9005ST are 18 more watts at 60 watts.... 9145ST are 42 watts....

I can highly recommend these 9005ST in the fogs

BTW: I drove around town for about 45 minites and about 30 minites on some country roads... had NO ONE flash me to cut down my lights and had 4 or 5 cars cut there highs off for me on back roads....

They are worth the time (15 minutes to install) and low cost. Nice white light.

Did the 9005's fit right in or did you have to do some modifications to get them in?

They fit right in. I just added the 9005's and H13's. In the garage they looked brighter than stock. I'll have to take it for a test drive tonight.

the 9005 are a little different on the three tabs that stick out around the bulb, you just have to wiggle and twist a little to get the tabs in your housing, then they go right in, no problem at all....

Been driving in the city all weekend and not 1 flash, we have well designed fogs lights in these trucks and the cut off point of the light seems to be below eye level on other cars...

just added the H13ST, 9005ST, and 3157aST (turn signal) bulbs. At first i couldnt tell a difference in the daytime..minor. But i took her out slightly before dark and i can tell a major diff. now. Very white light. The 9005ST fogs are hella bright...brighter than my low beam h13's. couldnt be happier with the results!

Definatly go with the 9005ST fogs! well worth it

I did a search and came up with this place, for those of you that don't have an autozone nearby this may be an option.

My truck has the round 9145 type of light for the Fogs. are you guys using 9005 for the round Fogs also? I bet they would be brighter and hope they wont burn through my fog light assembly.
