Quick question:

Does the LSII have the ends that wrap all the way around near the cabin or is that only on the LSx series?

Anyone have a Oxford White F150 with LSII installed with pics they can post?

I have a LSII... not sure what you're asking though...

A few pics in an attempt to answer your question...

Thanks for the pics, Rock. They do answer my question.

What I was asking was whether the corners on the ARE tonneau cover wrap around and in towards the cabin. I see from your cover that they do.

Thanks again.

The LSX fits a lot better though then the LSII. I believe the LSX also comes standard with a liner, lights and electric lock. Where the LSII doesn't have those options standard, but you can easily add them (except for the lights, that's more work).

I saw a LSX in person on an F150 and it made me wish I had known the LSX was coming out two weeks after I bought my LSII.

All that being said, the LSII is still a REALLY nice looking bed cover.

I've had a couple of ARE LSIIs on the F150s that I've owned (and am looking for one for my 06 now). If you get the remote lock, make sure they wire it with quick disconnects just in case you ever need to remove the lid for any reason (they didn't do that on my last one and I had to cut the wires to remove it).

dang.... $925....My LSll here in Knoxville was $1310.....someone got fat off of me....still like it though.....the liner matches my Bed rug....looks great....They've improved their product since my last ARE...the rubber gasket around the bed rails really keeps out the dust...the best bed cap on the market IMO

I ordered mine yesterday at Truckin' Thunder in Richmond, Virginia.

$824.00 including the $25.00 instant rebate but not including the $75.00 maunfacturers mail-in rebate.

As for the person who mentioned the LSX series being better, it does have a few more gadgets and whatnot, but I'm not sure the price justifies it. It has the bed light, keyless entry [wired to your door remote] and an extra arm on the struts [which I'm still not certain what its purpose was]. As far as appearence, the salesperson assured me they were identical except fr a different lock. However, the LSX costs $249.00 more than the LSII.

thais0n,

Thanks for the pics. My truck's identical except it's a Screw. Can hardly wait for the top in a couple of weeks. Looks like a gem!

I can't believe some of you payed/paying up $700.00 more than what I just did.

Dang, it's worth the drive to Rich, VA for some of you.

the main difference between the LSII and the LSX is the scissor hinges on the LSX. if you take a look at RP's lid the front corners of the lid are flared a little bit so they dont hit the paint when the lid is open. The LSX lid lifts STRAIGHT up, then tilts open so it fits cleaner and without any flare up front. Also, lights and e-locks are standard. (I sold and installed both of these lids)
