Window Vent Visor ?

I am thinking about purchasing a full set of vent visor's for my scab. Help me narrow my choices. What manufacturer are you guys with them using? What is better or works best, in channel or stick on (3m) type.

Thanks to those that reply...

I don't have any but I've seen some people getting bagged on for having the stick-on ventvisors.

I recently went through the same dilemma. I decided on the AVS in-channel visors, and absolutely love them. They look much better than the stick on visors, install in seconds, and cost the same. I got mine for $45 at Advanced Auto, but had to special order them. since they only had the regular stick on ones in stock. Maybe I will get a change tomorrow to take some close up pictures for you.

That would be great if you can snap a few close up pics, the pics on some of the sites are too hard to tell what they really look like. Any problems with wind noise with the AVS models? Do they stay on tight?

Yup get the Autovent Shades; AVS. I have the in-channels and they're GREAT. No problems so far and I've had them about 3 months or longer.

I don't have them on my current truck, yet. I had in channel on my ranger and they did create wind noise. I have read on here where people have had it create wind noise and people who have said it created no additional noise. I guess you need to hope you are one of the lucky ones who gets no noise from them.

I had the in channel type on my GTI. They ended up scratching the top edge of the windows over time (sand etc in the channel). Wasn't really a big deal to me, just something to think about. I now have the Ford stick on type. They work just as well, and I would recommend them.

I've got the weather-tech and love them, the best part is that the fronts cover the whole window, bad pic but it does go all the way down to the mirror

I just installed a set of Lund In-Channel Visors on my '06 s-crew. They look great and I dont have any wind noise. Easy to install, just follow the directions. What I especially like is being able to leave the front door glasses down about 2 inches (for heat) and you cant tell from the outside!. Go for it!

I installed the OEM Ford stick-on vent shades. They look good and have held up fine for six months. I have one complaint which I don't know would exist with the in-channel vent shades. When I have my windows cracked about two inches, the rain water seems to run and gather at the mirror and blow back in the truck.
