I tried a set of in-channel back when my truck was new and the front windows had trouble closing. I sent them back. I don't recall the brand, bought them off of eBay.
Have any of you with the in-channel had a similar issue?
Maybe I bought too soon and they hadn't yet been perfected?

I bought weather-tech inchannel...it took about 2-3 weeks for the window to conform to the install.....after that everything is great....I'd choose inchannel over stick and glue anytime.....

Thumbs up

I just put on a set of lund in channel and they work great on my 06 FX4 super crew.

use a little brake cleaner on a paper towel and rub the LUND right off them!!

(in case you too don't like the silver LUND on em!!!)

I was looking at the weathertechs and they look really nice. I dont know if im going with the semi dark or the really dark. I heard they fit in without using the tape stuff. That would be really nice.

I have the stick-on's, might be Ford or could be aftermarket, not really sure. But they are banged up a bit and will need replacing soon. Any tips on removing the actual pieces and the residue? What will clean up the gunk but not damage the paint/clearcoat?

I have the AVS In-channel vent visors on my '05 Supercrew, and I love them. I might be hearing a little wind noise, but I don't notice it unless it's winter time when I'm not running the A/C full blast. Then again, the truck is so quiet that this is the first one that I might have noticed any real noise. I think that the stick on look too goofy for turcks this expensive and nice.
