Very impressed with the 5.4!!!

Ive got to echo your joy screw. Ive only had mine one week and I've put 800 miles on her. Took a quick 400 mile round trip down to marco island pulling an 1800lb pop up camper, and averaged 16.4 mpg without the truck even being broken in. My ranger 4x4 never hit that mileage towing when it was broke in.

I love my F-150. Hell I would sleep in it but it is 97 freakin' degrees here at night. As far as the 5.4 goes yeh it ain't no bullit like my Mustang GT, but this engine gets the job done. I pulled my #1600 pop up camper from 2100 ft to 9100 ft last weekend. I almost forgot the thing was there until I got to the camp site. Oh the camper weight was 1600 lbs. empty. Prolly 2000 lbs towing, and another 700 lbs stuff and passengers in truck. If the road was straight I could have went 90 mile an hour up there. But it was curvy so me being a conservative driver I went as fast as I could with out rolling the trailer.
No sir for me I have plenty of power. Now if I wanna feel like I am 19 again I will drive my Mustang (and clean my pants when I am done).

For starters, the title is " Very impressed with the 5.4!!!" It is a topic about how he LIKES his 5.4, not a complaint. And prior to YOU entering with whatever pathetic little jab of negativity you could scrounge up to try and rain on Ford's parade there wasn't a drop of whining or negativity here.
There was no complaining, and no double standard, just positive praise. Might want to work on that reading comprehension there pal.
So, like I said, just because YOU aren't happy with your truck, doesn't mean to have to make sure that is the case with everyone else. We get the fact you hate Ford and feel betrayed and cheated. boohoo. Get over it. Oh, and get lost

Like I said before, keeping your head in the sand gives us mediocre trucks. Complaining is what makes Ford improve these trucks.
