brake upgrades

ok well im looking at getting better brakes my dad offered to buy me new brakes he suggested getting new calipers as well like a 4 piston but i dont think there is a 4 piston for our trucks all i have seen are the 6 piston willwoods and baer and a 3 piston from ssbc, is there any other brands im missing or anyone have these? i would love to get the willwoods but at $4k just for the front id rather get a supercharger

supercharger i dont see why you need new brakes and calipers your wheels weigh the same as stock dont they? you have no real added weight really, i think it would be kinda pointless at the moment.

get a whipple or kenne belle blower.

Is yours a 2WD or 4WD?
Brembo makes a kit (6 piston) for the fronts of the newer 4WD F150's.

Just get some new pads, cross drilled and slotted rotors, and then call it a day...

yeah i think big brakes make big wheels look so much better now if it had a huge 6 piston caliper that would be sick, and like i said my dad offered to buy my them so i figured why not

and yes i didnt loose any braking power with my 22's, but i do tow race cars about twice a week and would be nice to have more braking power

Correct me if im wrong but wouldnt more braking power make the trailer fishtail? I think brakes would be the absolute last thing I would upgrade in a truck but thats just me. go for the supercharger imo

ahh ok but here is my dilema i dont have the money for a super charger i dont really want one id rather build my own custom turbo setup and i want brakes and is one of the best mods you can do it improves the look of the truck the performance of it and the safty of it

so please for those brake haters out there just dont post if your just going to be negative or go put greese on your rotors and tell me how important brakes are

i think if you upgrade your brakes they need to be the six piston 2 piece rotors those look so good like the brembos ap racing and the baers. im gonna do this as soon as i finish my latest project which should be a long one
