have you even seen the inside of these mirrors yeah the outside would be easy to cut down and even the glass but the motors inside are the problem, if you want it to still work, now if you didnt care about them working you could easily cut them down then mount the mirror in the shell solidly or even fab up some sort of manual adjustment mount

 

So I was dreaming when I saw this in person on an 04 and talked with the company about the parts on the truck? Thanks Cole, without your knowledge of what I see and know I would be lost

Yes I talk with people who do things who in turn explain how it was done and more times than not provide me with the exact instructions, parts to complete the task and a finished product.

Am I an Expert, maybe maybe not... But I do well enough in what I do to take care of my family, and Countrywide is the only debt we have.

But In all seriousness, The big dumbo mirrors are great because of the FOV you get with them, but, they're huge! I really like the cut down mirrors. They look good in the pic.

 

You said the samething about side skirts for trucks with flare fenders and didn't happen !

Remember you wrote this Drew :

ya gotta understand how much fast things happen on the west coast. you're in PA, I'm in CT, the big companies aren't going to market and test stuff out here, when they can do it there. it takes time.

when i build parts, is it smart for me to market them in New england, where guys use their trucks more for utility than show, or over on the other side where theres more show trucks and publicity. not to mention nice weather all year long.

As long as the end result is a quality product, that fits and looks great on my truck, does well for the manufacture, I have no problem waiting for the last piece of the kit and then have everything installed and painted before SEMA.
Why dont you try reading about whats going on in the aftermarket industry and then you would know what products are available and what will be making its introduction in the next two months.

They update their website ?
Is that locally only ?

no, but like drew said, a company isn't going to release something they're going to use to their advantage. they're going to hold off until SEMA because its something they have that others don't, which gives them the edge. if they release it before SEMA, another company is most likely going to use it, making it old hat.

 

Wrong and ready to argue like always. If what you think you know is true;

1. Where is the information on whipples site about the upgrade that is available? Or where you just special?

2. Powerworks has a new hand held tuner available... Not on their site...YET

3. Groundforce has had rear airshocks available for months. Stillen has them on their site, where is it on Groundforce(the maker) site? It's was not there last week...

Is everything you have on your truck listed on a website? No........
If so why do you have so much trouble finding parts you need?

Did you get the exact rwhp that whipple said you would get on their website out the box?

Did you get what Dynotech said you would get when you installed it?

Does ridetech list your truck in their applications?
