I can't even remember how I found it. Pretty secure! I wish my 2006 had a stash in the console with easy access to a hand gun.

Its very obvious to know theres storage underneath the previous style F-150's with the Console. I mean once you open up the center console, you can see the grab handle to pull up wards for more storage. The salesman pointed that out to me when we got the 02 back in 02, but the salesman didn't let us know this time on either the 04 F-150 I had or the 05 F-150 we still got also. I doubt many people know of this in the new F-150's as many of us, including myself just found that out on the new ones.

I think most people didn't know about it because its not really a storage compartment. Sure, you can use it to store things but its just where the seat attaches to the the bracket that keeps the seat attached to the floor of the truck.

Looks like a good place to hide my faceplate for my h/u and my satellite radio when I'm out at the bars.

Hahaha, I hope you guys never get truck-jacked....
"You can't have my truck, I'll teach you a lesson......just let me tear my center seat out, hold on its stuck...gimme a second"

Shove the barrel between the driver and passenger seat, its right there if you need it and its NOT TECHNICALLY CONCEALED

Ohhhh, secret compartment! I have the flow-through console on my '05 Lariat SC so no luck there, and I really do miss the little locker behind the left back seat on the '02 XLT SC. Great place to stash the decoder ring and utility belt.

Just keep in mind that your restraint control module is under that area. May not be a good idea to put something hard and heavy there without padding it first.

FYI! For those that do not have a concealed carry permit, beware of putting your gun under that seat in the case of being pulled over by an officer. My neighbor is a Federal Marshall and he said that law enforcement is aware of that compartment. He does a lot of undercover work and said that they familiarize themselves with where in deifferent vehicles someone might store a gun or drugs.

Can't believe the 'secret compartment' threads are back.

I posted pics of a 44 mag and an officer's model 45 together in there about 18 months ago.

I have put two amps in there, small ones, and presently have my 4 channel Alpine under there.

I don’t have a pic of my Alpine in there, just never got around to taking the picture.

Notice the restraint module is higher than the floor, so be careful mounting things there. But that said it has been a great place for amps.
