Bilstein & Hellwig questions

Ok, I searched and got a phone book of contradicting info. I have 2 questions, sorry if they have been beaten to death, I am still getting used to the site so please forgive me.

1) The Hellwig sway bars for our trucks, who has them and what do you think about the effectiveness and ride with it?

2) The only Bilstein Shocks I am finding that don't lift thee truck are the "Heavy Duty" ones: F4-BE5-A761-H0 & F4-BE5-A762-H0. Are these too rough like they are designed for towing, etc? I am looking for a sport shock, so opinions?

Thanks guys and gals!

i have the sway bar and the bilsteins. both made a BIG difference in handling and ride. about 500.00 for bar and shocks but well worth it.

i have the borla si/so on my 05 kr super crew. its a little tight but the bar fits. if you have a spare tire larger than stock it might be an issue.

BlackFlag, I believe the version of Bilstein shocks that many are using to level there trucks are adjustable from 0" to 2". Meaning you can set them to 0" and retain your factory ride.

Does the installation of the sway bar require the truck to be jacked up, or can I just scoot under the truck and bolt it on?

I believe the directions tell you to install it with the truck on the ground. I had no problem doing it on a gravel driveway in the dark. Just be careful to not overtighten the bushings on the uprights.
