Hey Fellas,
Word from the wise. Keep sales info off the boards and in personal emails or PMs. This is against forum rules and RP could give you guys temporary bans as warnings. How bad would that stink to not be able to hop on F150Online.com for a few days?
Side note. I've taken everything out of all the boxes. Everything is in perfect shape and and was very well packed.
I'm going to finish my HID headlights tonight and take apart the interior to do the install tomorrow.
ONE BIG THING I NOTICED. Geese I have a lot of wires to plug into this headunit and there arn't that many connections in the back of the headunit. I know I'm an idiot and just missing the solution, but do you guys have any hints? For example I think one connection in the back of the headunit says "IP BUS" but there are two or three cords that look like they need to go in there (you can tell by the connector on the cord).
Hints?
Duke

IP Bus is the connection cable from either the headunit to XM hideaway and/or IPod hideaway.

Brian aka bhf150 has the z1, his setup is very nice. The bluetooth is amazing, he mounted the mic on his headvisor, the calls come out of the speakers, it's great. I like the unit too, pretty nice. I wish the GUI was a little more flashy, looks a little nintendo-ish/pixelated but it's very nice. I am sure all double din units are like that, I can't wait until they have PC monitor resolutions though. Both antennae's are mounted on his dash and it looks very clean, they come out of the defrost vents and are centered in the middle, they work well he said.

On the IPOD side of the IPBus the cable is black, then plugs in blue to the headunit
Hope that helps!

Duke, are you planning on adding the bluetooth or any additional accessories?

Able to share where you picked yours up at? Don't want to cross the line on selling on the boards, but just curious as to where you found that kind of deal and if it is still available. Thanks.

Right now I have:
Z1 - It won't be hard to look through posts and see where you can find the $1,600 price
iPod Controls - See Circuit City as they have them on sale for $49.99
Automatic Bypass - (allows you to use the nav and stuff while moving) - See avic411.com and read through the Z1 post and you'll find a guy who sells them for $25
XM Radio/Nav - Bought this from the company I bought the unit. I forget the price, but it was better then any other place. Once again, read through this as people shouldn't/can't be name dropping non-supporting vendors and I don't want to continue that in this thread, so that nobody gets in trouble.
PAC-PS - Bought this off ebay to use my OEM steering wheel controls with the unit. I believe it was around $50 shipped.

Oh wow,
So I'm sinking fellas.
I thought all the wires I needed to tap into were in the dash behind the radio (minus the reverse wire which is in the driver's side kick panel, which I'm still wondering what the color is)
Then the only other wire I need to tap into is the speed sense wire which is grey/black and is behind the radio and allows the speed sensitive sound to work.
These are the only things right? I mean I'm looking at this Z1 harness and I'm seeing stuff like a orange/white wire to the lighting switch terminal, red to electic terminal controlled by the igniiton switch and yellow to terminal always supplied with power regardless of ignition switch position.
Sweet jesus, do those have to be connected? If so, where the heck do I find them?
