The settings I changed in the custom tune are:

Std. Shift-- 1to2 -1, 2to3 +5, 3to4 +10
Rev. Limiter--5400
Shift Points--5100,5100,4700
Timing-- +3
WOT fuel-- 1.6

That's it. Bill is working on it right now. I called at around 8:30 MST. Hopefully I'll hear back soon. If you see anything here, Silverfish, that could be the culprit, please let me know.

The only thing we did near the same was I adjusted the timing +1 and std shift point 1-2 to -2 and 3-4 to +10.

Let us know what Bill does!
Thanks

why the 3-4 at +10? at what speed does it go into od with that high of a parameter? or what rpm? thanks. on the last update (didn't do this one yet), i put the 1-2 to -1 so it would shift at closer to 16-1700, when set to 0 the way it was it would now be close to 2k to shift out of 1st. i thought that was a little to late to shift when just rolling slowly along.....especially when cold out. like to keep the rpms down while truck is cold.....

The std. shifting are the mph points (not rpm) at which the vehicle will want to shift under normal acceleration. Positive value will cause a later shift (on page 16 of manual). I like that it stays in 3rd longer under normal accel., shifts at around 40mph into OD. For city stop and go it feels the best with torque/power.

You should be fine if you fill-up then go home and update and load (just don't drive the truck like you stole it).

Yes restore truck to the stock tune. The nice thing with the lighning software is it won't let you update the edge unit until you return to stock. Once you update then go load 3rd tune....

Did you have the truck turned to ON when you reconnected the Edge?

Did you uninstall the old drivers and old version, and reinstall the new lightning version?
