Online tire retailers?

So my stock 275's are starting to run out. I have the FX4 18's, by the way, and im looking to upgrade to a 33" tire like the 325/60/18 setup on my stock wheels. What do you all think about the wear on such a small rim? Also ive been looking online and cheapest ive found them is $227 shipped. Is this is a good deal?

I think that www.discounttiredirect.com does have a very good price(In comparison)for that particular tire. That tire is a little too wide for our factory wheels(I believe they are 13.50 wide). Other members do run the tire with some rubing issues and a little abnormal wear in the middle due to the width. I am running the 33-12.50-18 TOYO M/T on the factory 18" FX4 wheel for about 4000 miles now. I love the look and so far have had no problems. They are more expensive but have been rated very well. Smooth(Fora a mud tire) and durable. It is also snow rated as well. I think they are a great tire. here is the cheapest I found them 272.00 http://www.tires-easy.com/start.html
I paid $300 each at a local Les Schwab tire center. Good luck.

Yeah the BFG are 11.50 wide(i believe). I think either one is a very popular choice and a very good tire. I did read some bad reviews of the BFG, not being made the same as before?? and questionable performance on wet pavement and deep snow. on www.tirerack.com. I think everyone will Have their experiences. I like the look of the BFG. But for me I need the agressiveness. EITHER will be a nice addition to your truck. Good luck.

Well the Toyo M/T is out of my price range, so im back to the 'will it fit dilema' regarding the 325/60/18. I really like the look of this tire but i know the BFG's will wear fine. Im not sure whether the Nittos will wear fine

I don't know about that one. I read the first few pages of reviews and there is only one person that made comments similar to what you are saying. From my experiences with multiple sets and sizes of these tires, I have never felt short changed or let down. They have exceeded my expectations in all conditions, including the 3' of snow they blazed with an enclosed snowmobile trailer attached last winter. My only disclaimer is that was with my Silverado 1500HD. I can't wait for these Goodyear ATS tires to wear out so I can get my BFG AT's. Just my 2 cents.

The BFG's are definately nice and measure in at 32.6" or 33x11.5x18. I dont doubt theyre reputation as a great tire. The Nitto's are actually a 33.4" and 33x13.5x18. So im giving up an inch with the Nittos. I guess it really doesnt matter. Are there any other tire manufacturers that make 33" 18's? Seems to me Nitto and BFG are the only tire under $250.

I would get the BFG as they have established a solid reputation and following. Also, the NITTO tires rub on the control arms and on the sway bar as many have previously posted, and I personally don't care to hear the tire squeal or rub. So if price is a main concern and you don't mind the rubbing then the NITTO. If you can go a little more I would go with the BFG. No rub and long lasting.

I think the issues that have ocurred have been with the load rating on certain vehicles. If you notice on the majority of all the posts, the lighter weight vehicles, such as jeep and toyotas have complained the most about the BFG, but they are a lighter weight than our trucks of course. Don't get me wrong; I LIKE the BFG and think that they along with bridgestone are some of the best tires out there. Just thought that he should LOOK into it a little more so as to be better informed. But I would go with the BFG due to make, proper size and they ARE long lasting. The 325-60-18 are too wide for the factory rim. And although they will fit and others have had them. He is at greater risk from the bead coming out, premature wear and rubbing issues that many have not been too thrilled with. But price is always an issue and if he is not really running the truck hard the NITTO tires should be ok. Now if they wear faster due to cupping he'll be buying a set sooner than if he would have gone with a better fitting tire such as the BFG. Thanks for the info.

Them 285/65/18 BFG's are looking real nice. To bad they dont make a BFG M/T in that size or a bit bigger.

They make them in a 35/12.50/18 and someone on this forum has them on factory 18" FX4 wheels.
