Ok, here is some real info for everyone.
this is not butt-o-meter, or"it feels like" BS. These are numbers directly from my Edge installed on my 05 Screw 4x4 with a drop in K&N and a JBA single 3" exhaust.
Here they are :

Stock tune - 9.47s, 9.52s and 9.42s. Average - 9.47seconds
Lvl 1 Trans only - 8.69,9.12,8.62. Ave 8.81sec
Lvl2 87oct - 9.06,8.72,9.11 ave 8.96sec
Lvl3 87oct - 8.63,9.12,8.51. ave 8.75

these runs wer all done on the same street, with 15 minutes cooling time between each different tune.

My impressions? The trans makes the most difference. Very noticable, and much better than stock. lvl 2 didnt really feel much better, but it did chirp the tires(no 20ft burnout on any setting) once on the 2nd run. Lvl3 with 87 doesnt seem like much either, but with 91 oct it should be a different story, since timing makes big gains normally.

Now comeone guys, I have had the thing for 2 hours sofar and got all this info sofar, those of you that paid for overnight have had lots of time, now go get real numbers, and quit playing with the screen colors.

Valenrandy - the snorkle is really about "quieting" down the engine intake noise....it is a choke point. I went another step and replaced the entire intake with the AF1 and it is awesome......smog legal too! Keep in mind with the AF1 I do hear the engine more - but that's how I like it - not "whisper quiet". FYI - I've removed the intake snorkles on all of my new Fords and have never had an issue or had a dealer even mention it - you wil be ok with yours removed.
The edge engineer, stated that dyno test showed a 5 hp improvement with just removing the snorkle. I just replaced mine with the Airaid Jr. Works great. See pics in gallery.

Just mess with the settings a bit more and drop in some 91-93 in the tank and for sure you will be in the hi7s 0-60

What did you do that will drop another .75+ seconds off of the tunes? Can you post more times that show this kind of improvement? Were these high 7 times done with a screw 4x4 or a standard cab 2wd?

Hey Valenrandy....did I read that you made your most recent 0-60 run with a FULL tank of gas.....that's 30 gals at ___ per gallon (can't remember what a gal weighs....5lbs?) - I'd imagine that extra weight would definitely hurt your 0-60 times try it again at 1/4 tank and see what you get...

As I recall these PCMs are of the learning variety..so it will take some driving with a tune in it before you see the real benefits. Unless I am mistaken of course...

I hope your right!I hope it only gets better.

I did another 0-60 run with about 9/10s full tank of gas and this resulted(7.54sec ) 0-60. Not bad i think. I bumped the fuel at WoT to 1.90 and shift firmness from 1-2@3.....2-3@2....3-4@0....
WOT revs @ 1-2@5300....2-3@5300....3-4@5100
(if anyone knows where the best rev limits @ wot are let me know!
Hi-perf setting (#3) tuned to 93octane.

Looks like you knocked off that .75 seconds you were talking about..

I cant wait to fill my truck up with 91 so i can see how low i can get my 0-60 times..

Will post back with lots and lots of #'s once i can run some premium, as of right now i only have numbers for 87 octane.

I'm interested in seeing how low you get with those 35's. Right now, I am getting a 7 sec give or take .5 sec's. I'll have to get my camera out again, but it is quite a bit quicker with my Xcal2 from troyer. There is a big "dead zone" in my pedal though, it's huge. There is virtually no acceleration through 60% of the pedal, it's rediculous. I hate that and I have no idea if it's normal or not.

Hi-perf setting (#3) tuned to 93octane.

If I remember a post by MT referring to a Hypertech...1-2 is 5400, 2-3 5400, and 3-4 was 4700.

It was a post in the chips and programming forum...about a week ago....he had a few choice (deserved) words for asinatra..

I am a little confused about all the hype for the edge tuner, yet you have only seen a handful of posts on here giving their experience. I wonder if this new phenomenom was all that is cracked up to be.

Also, did anyone notice the post from the member that was first creating all the hoopla. I know everyone saw that he was selling it because he/she was afraid of voiding warranty, but in a post after that, he commented that this was the best tuner he has ever had...and he had had several before...so my question is...if he was concerned about warranty...we has he owned several tuners? Seems a little bizarre that someone could own several different tuners and not know the warranty implications...

I'm sure there must be other guys out here with it also, have yall been able to improve yalls 0-60 times? I didn't bother today, I'm fine with it as is for now. One thing I have noticed, and this only happens between 42-45mph. When I go Wot anywhere between 42-45 it appears that it drops fast to 1st the just as fast trys to go basck to 2nd but very noticably misses or slips? As that happens the engine revs high then adfter 2-3 slips it grabs and goes. I really don like that and may be atributed to my shift firmness from 1-2@3points. It only does it at that speed when you punch it. Other than that all is well. You gurus out there I would like to get feedback from yall.
