Can you show me how the bar mounts to the axle tube, or diff housing?
I'm not convenced the 2WD bar will work on my 4X4, but I'll try it.
CC thanks for your help with this sway bar selection.
I posted the Belltech mounting photos in my gallery. Have a look!

CC, thanks you've come through again.
Thanks man.
My concern with the 2WD bar on a 4X4 is the size of the block between the axle tube and the leaf spring.
It seems if these blocks are taller on a 4X4 the distance from the axle tube to the upper shock mount is greater.
If the distance from the axle tube to the upper shock mount is longer on a 4X4 than a 2WD, wouldn't the end links need to be longer to acount for the increased distance from the tube to the shock mount?
I'm going to buy the Bell Tech, and we'll see how it goes from there.
Thoughts? Anyone?
Thanx

Your Bilsteins look different than mine.
Mine have flexable blue rubber boots on them.
Yours look like my fronts that have a ridgid skirt or sleeve instead of the rubber boot.
Just an observation.
I ordered the Bell Tech sway bar this AM.

Thanks for your help, I'll post an update when I get my Bell Tech.

Ok, my cents (hell they arn't worth 2).

I am planing a swaybar installation with my Rancho installation. SOme have mentioned that Dodge and H2's are running rear sway bars. I can't comment about the H2 because they don't cater to anyone with a brain when it comes their website. I have however been in a powerwagen (freakin awesome).

The Dodge uses rear sway but has a front one that is electrinically disconnected. This giving it more agility. Why the rear isn't like this I don't know but its probabbly becauese the limiting factor to say a RTI index is the front so the sway bar in the back doesn't limit overall flex as a whole.

When I put my rear sway bar on it will be attached at the ends with swaybar quick disconects. These are regularly used in front coil over jeeps, other wise those things would sway off a road at 50mph. They had a trucks with a *****'s and Stacey's words was it was scary with out swarbars.

So if you want a rear swaybar and also wheel occasionally. just get quick disconects and disconect the rear while wheeling or for the winter, if the ice issue bothers you. When I install all of this I will also maybe make a bracket the sway bar can be attached to while not in use, if this is done copiuous amounts of pictures will be included.

Got the belltech sway bar installed on a 2wd SCREW. Definitly made a difference in how it feels in a corner, feels flat and planted. I will give it a 2 thumbs up mod. This should be an option from Ford. Call it a handleing package; Lower the 2wd just a little, add 20 in wheels and good handling tires and a rear sway bar. If it was available I would have got it.

So has anyone actually installed this on a 4X4 with SIDO exhaust?
