Had a small accident to my front bumper So I guess this would be the perfect excuse to upgrade to the new 06 bumper
I would like to thank FX4EXCURSION for hooking me up with all the part #'s for the bumper convertion. I will more than likely be painting my bumper valance and fender flares silver to match truck, what do you guys think of painting flares and valance?

could you hook all of us up with the part numbers for the conversion? i have chrome bumpers and want to get a painted one with round fogs...

 

Ouchy. I personally like the black plastic flares and valence. I found a few scrathces on mine and I don't even use mine for work. I would think the paint would show the scratches much more easily (just like the painted mirrors on my wifes car that has a few big rock chips.
Just my opinion.

Wow! sorry bout the fender bender, but no problem on the part numbers! I ordered all the stuff a couple of days ago, so I should be received the bumper and parts the week after next. Dude your truck is gonna look sick with that 06 bumper

How much is converting the bumper to an 06 going to be? Are you going to go with the same bumper as the harley?

 

I'm going with the paint to match w/fogs bumper. Its about $450 for bumper, fog lights and all parts listed above. I'm hoping painting bumper dont go over $100.

 

With shipping and all parts, it's about 560 from fordparts.com. Shipping was 90 for the bumper, ground, and 30 for the rest of the parts. Its sucks, I'm on the East coast and the parts are all coming from Washington State.

 

I would love to have the flow thru console. Only problem is that I have a reg cab, so would kinda suck to only be able to have 2 people in the truck
