I VE requested a buy back
Update...
This past weekend i drove three drifferant trucks.only one of them was great but it was a ext.cab i need the crew cab.The two crew cabs that i drove had either the vibrations or the rough idle that makes the truck shake you around.So as of today the dealership didnt have anything else that i was happy with.So now we are looking for either other options from ford or just wanting for the dealership to get more truck in.I wish they just write me a check for mine and be done with it.

I been in touch with the BBB they put my case on hold until the outcome of this which is ok by me.the srevice director told me that ford will be taking this truck back to deerborn.My case working tells me just to keep updated with him and will go from there.I m glad ford is doing this voluntary(at least thats what i m told).I just dont want to get anything..
UPdate..Ford is doing a full refund now for the truck minus the milage charge.I got the final refund amount from ford last week and just wainting for the check to come in .then i can turn this truck back to the dealership..looks like i m going to get a tundra double cab,unless i can find a older body style crew cab.Just wanted to give update on my process .Had really no help from the BBB . Ford is voluntary buying this truck back from me..

you dont have a phone number to anyone at Ford that might be able to helo me with my case do you? The BBB is absolutely useless to me at this point. They just keep telling me they have to wait to hear from Ford and there'e no one they can call. I think its all BS....I need to find someone to call to help me out.

DO you have the Phone # to customer service at ford do you?THats the only # i have that may help you out..You are right about the BBB they do nothing.They did however tell me once they send the package to ford .Ford has 14 days to respond your request.Mostly mine case has been dealing just with the service director at the dealership but thats after i called ford customer service and requested a buyback..So i dont know who else you can contact.Did you fill out the form in the back of the lemon law book that came with truck?

I do have the customer service number. I guess I need to give them a call. At first we all agreed to have Ford fix the truck by a certain date. That never happened and the date got moved. They looked at it for 2 weeks and still didnt fix it. I then requested a buy back, which was on Monday Jan,9th. So if they have 14 days to answer I guess I need to wait until this friday. Theres a lot of things I dont like about this whole deal. Things not getting done in the right time frame, copies of repair orders I get at the dealership, is different from the copy they send me in the mail a week later, Ford telling the BBB they are waiting for info from the dealership, days after the dealership told me they had all the info and passed it on to Ford. The whole thing just sucks and Im tired of it.

thats the first thing i did was called cust. service at ford told them i wanted a buy back on truck then everything started to roll from there,they told me that a regoial rep would contact me about the issue within 3 days with they didnt do for about a week,but in the meantime the service director called me and started to get thing rolling from the dealership side.but that s after i calle dford and may a request for a buy back.the BBB guy told me after they put the paper work in to ford that the bbb would get a answer within 14 days.So i would call ford directly and see what they have to tell you.Thats all that i know what to tell you....Once again i hope they quit ****en around with you and get you taken care of...keep posted ....

Well of course NOT..they all had the big meeting today. I did talk to the BBB and he told me to call him back today at 3pm...I need to do that now. Figured I would give him a few extra minutes..

Ok...so not that i'm at all surprised, but I got ahold of the BBB and he said he still has not heard from Ford. He said they give them 20 days to respond..hmm, didnt they tell you 14 days?? anyway, so he says im in day 17. I said NO, i'm in day...ummm like 6 months now. So anyway, since my last request, its been 17 days and he said he should hear from them in the next few days.
About an hour later, I get a call from my case manager at the BBB. Now im excited thinking they got an answer. He tells me he has not heard from Ford yet but wanted to know if I still had the flight recorder on the truck??WTF..I told him that was done about a month ago, it took the dealer and Ford 3 days to read all the data and didn't find anything wrong. He said at this time he was setting up arbitration. Told me a little about it and that I will have to go to Trenton, which is a couple hours away. He is sending me all the paperwork for it soon. He said it is still possible to hear from Ford and get an offer fo some kind. And if I agree to it, arbitration will be canceled.
I'm so damn frustrated with this whole thing. I dont know what to do anymore. Everyone keeps telling me I dont need a lawyer while i'm going thru this process. I'm thinking otherwise.
Has anyone gone thru the arbitration process? was it worth it? do I need a lawyer? What was it like? any help at this point would be great

Brewdude...The BBB told me 14 days to hear back from ford,maybe its a state to state thing.I bet that ford will offer you a extended warrenty.thats the first thing they offer me i said no thanks since i was still in the 3/36.Then when i refused that is when they offer a replacement.I can t tell you what to do about the lawyer thing.I m sure others here havegone the the aribatration hearings.I glad mine didnt get to that point.Atleast you heard back from your case worker that s a start...
Looks like i turning in truck today,Yah>The dealership got the check in today.So looks like i m finally done with the buy back(RAV) process only took since november of 05 since i started the process..
