I got one last year for Christmans. Guess where it is......
its still in the box unopened in the closet. Maybe this year for Xmas
I'll get it installed. Iam just waiting for Howard Stern to start.

 

Howard is the ONLY reason I got it! But check out the "RAW DOG" station when you hook it up! Its unsensored comedy, And man is it funny!

Yeah, I was parked under a huge tree! Even though I still get reception with no bar sometimes. If you look at the "meter"<--?, When there is no bar on the main screen there is still 4-5 bars on it. I havent lost signal yet.

 

so what is stern going to talk about since he won't have 3 hours of complaining about the fcc to do?

Good thing you can't wait cause they wont, they are actually looking to expand their systems for gps/movies and stuff.

 

Why is that?
1. Becouse you cant afford the $12.00 a month for a subscription.
2. You are a religious nut case that cant stand vulgarity or ones right to listen to whomever or whatever they want to and cant simply turn the dial.
3. You are someone who doesnt mind that on terrestrial radio you as a listener cant listen to songs with explicit words or content(basically striping youre freedom of speech BTW!), Becouse youre government says so.

And for you to wish any company wether you agree with their buissness stategies or not to "Go bankrupt" just shows that you have no clue of how buissness works, Since you are problably someones gopher at work.

And as far as SIRIUS going bankrupt... Hold youre breath, And I'll let ya know when to exhale.

I want to know how you guys mount those things in that "package tray" up on the dash like that! I have plans to get a P.I.E. and hook it up to a set of RCA jacks for the iPod, and also hook up the Sirius in tandem. I always see these cool mounts that look awesome, and I don't know how you do it. Mine's pretty dumb looking right now. I have the Sirius Starmate receiver, which looks like this.



I have it mounted to the ashtray door (with the suction cup mount) in my Lariat, and not only is it too low, but I have it FM modulated as well. Every time I look at it, I get pissed because it looks all hokey in a truck that cost me $30k. Help!

 

My first sat radio was Sirius, then I bought an 03 GMC that had XM, after owning both when I bought my Ford, I went back to Sirius. I will say that either one is MUCH better than your local FM!!!
