Here is my solution for mounting my Sirius Unit. I didn't want people seeing it and doing a five finger discount on it so I hid it a bit.

I cut a piece of plexiglass to fit in the hollow as shown and double face taped it on, so now the suction cup sticks nicely to it and the unit is easy to see/use.

Works good and does not adverstise!!

Mike, yours looks good but you have the "other kind" of dash. Anyone else have any mounting ideas for the Sirius Starmate? I HATE where it is right now. I'd also like to directly wire it in to come on with the key, can anyone tell me which wire that might be that I need to tap into?

Here's my install if you are looking for options. This used the ProFit mount from Crutchfield...

I like that Krohbar. I noticed your display says "Crystal Line." Is that what the P.I.E. adapter makes it say? Just curious. Anyhow, anyone else have pics?

EDIT: Just checked out the Vehicle-Specific mount on Cruthcfield.com. Pretty cool, if it would fit my Starmate receiver. It says it only fits the Delphi SA10101 SKYFi2 XM Satellite Radio receiver. Crap.

Buy an aftermarket radio and you can hide the Sirius unit under the dash because you control the Sirius with your new radio.

02SuperCrew4X; For the '04/'05 Audiophile HU the #2 wire (I'm color blind but I'm told it's light green) on the large connector on the back of the HU is switched 12v power. It has the delay shut off when the ignition is off but a door has not been opened. I spliced into this for my Sirius Sportster that is mounted on the dashtop tray. The Sportster is removeable if I'm concerned about theft or I just cover it up with a ballcap. Crime rates are very low in Southern Alberta
