A world without the F150, yikes that would be a horror. I'd go with a Chevy Luv Truck or a Subaru Brat. I was considering a Ram, Magnum or Charger but I just couldn't pull the trigger. Also looked around a bit for a 2K Scab until I found the Family Pricing deals.

Well...

I had signed on a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 ST that was Dark grey in color. It was stripped down and had a Westin snowplow on it. I had talked the dealer down to $28,000 OTD with the plow and gave a deposit. I then called my insurence company that told me $3000 a year to insure it with the plow because of the high liability, so that idea went out the window.

If the F-150 was not around, I would have gone for a F250 or a Ram, basically depending on the cost.

I may have ended up with a Ranger FX4 Level II since I like those but I wanted another full size.

In response to the topic:

Id love to have an 03-04 Lightning(secretly still looking... )

I also like the Hemi Quad Cab 4x4 with 20's, I just wish it wasnt a Dodge..

I am still waiting for the 07 F250/350 with 6.4 TT diesel, Id like to think that will be my next truck.

I wonder if this question was asked in another truck forum, the answers would be more "grouped" in favor of the F150? As you can see most responses here are pretty branched out, not exactly swaying to one make or model.

Dodge SRT-10, something about having a 8.3 ltr 500HP V10 with a 6 spd rollin on 22s STOCK. How's that not appealing

Anything Ford. I guess I am one of the few die hard Ford fans on this site. Wouldn't buy anything but Ford, I strayed once and still have nightmares!

I was driving a Jeep Cherokee Sport at the time this new design caught my
fancy. I may have ended up with one of theses three ..
1: a new Grand Cherokee
2: a reg cab short bed Toyota TRD rig ?
2 : OR a left over old design Durango Sport. ( I hate the re-design )

let the flaming begin BUT remember you asked ...

Back to what I just traded in, an F250 Crew Cab. It's more truck than I need, but if The F150 SuperCrew wasn't available, that's what I'd be driving again.

Not to hijack the thread, but I'm a sales manager, covering Nebraska, parts of Iowa, Missouri, Minnesota and South Dakota. Only stay out overnite if I have to, so getting home requires putting in some miles. I've had my truck 5-1/2 weeks, and I'm getting ready to turn over 10,000 miles...

I am with you. It probably came from my father owining a 73 F100 and he currently has an 87 F150 (w 380k). My 1st car was a 67 stang then i had a few V8 sleeper 78 stang IIs , 86Bronco and 92Bronco. I admit to test driving the Hemi quad cab last year but just couldnt do it. I guess i have blue blood.
If i didnt have to tow a boat i probably would not have got the F150 but i still need 4 doors for the family...Something Ford

Dont do it. The FX was my first choice, the f-150 was my 2nd. After driving it 3 weeks I went and bought my F-150. I felt like a little f**gy B***H in the FX so now i only use it for road trips. My view on the car is yeah it looks good but ONLY women should drive them.
