That's the one I saw posted here before the text was taken down and it stated 5.4l F-150's with the 4R75E transmission and build date before 4/20/2005. I made note of it for future reference. I have the occasional rearend clunk and sluggishness as well. I'm planning on having the dealer check it out thoroughly at the fist oil change. My '97 bone stock 4.6L would run circles around the truck I have now..... with better gas mileage to boot.

When my truck was reflashed for a no-start condition and 3-2 downshift clunk, the dealership cited TSB 05-10-12 on my paperwork.
Good luck!

I brought in the car with my description of the problem and a copy of the TSB.
1st time they coudln't find the problem
2nd time I drove with a tech (showed him the TSB) and he heard the problem but said it was a cv joint, new front axle, picked it up still had the clunk
3rd time drive with a different tech (showed him the TSB), said it was the strut tower, new strut/housing, picked it up still had the clunk
4th time drive with same tech as 3rd time with foreman in the back seat, they hear the clunk, I show them the TSB, they were going with the rack-and-pinion and later someone else called and sait there was a TSB that fixed the problem (which was the same one I showed them)
The car was in the shop a total of about a month.
well got em done, took the truck in at 9:11 by 11:30 i had the keys back in my hands, brakes are changed out , net rotors calipers pads, an they fixed the rear window rattle, so far im happy....wish the brake pedal was a bit firmer though
