Dragging Sound

'04 F-150 FX4
4x4 5.4L

I occassionaly hear what can only be describes as something dragging under the truck. I hear it for about 10-15 seconds then it stops. This does not happen on a regular basis and I have yet to determine under what conditions this happes as it seems to be totally random.

Any ideas?

It might be the exhaust heat shield hitting the driveshaft?

Yes I checked under the truck, nothing appears loose and I have not run over anything, at least that I'm aware of

80% sure its the muffler heat shield rubbing the driveshaft, thats what it was on mine, easy to fix, just bend it away
