OEM bugshield pic from the post below

This is a picture of my OEM bugshield I was asking about in a previous post listed below. After looking at some of the "OEM" shields in other posts I can see that mine is different from most of them. As you can see, mine has tabs where it was cut out that cover the chrome part of the grille and they are already rubbing spots on it. I am just not sure about this bug shield and I am looking for someone who has one like this one who can tell me what they think of theirs. Help.

man you forgot a couple steps!!!, take that off before you hurt it any more!!! you have to unscrew your grill and slip the tabs in there...then put the grill back on. we all have the tabs, theyre just tucked away under the grill to make the snug fit!.... (open your hood, look up at the junction of the front fascia, and the top hood, you should find 6 bolts distributed evenly along the edge, remove the nuts, pop off the grille, then position the guard between the bolts, pop the grill back on, over the the tabs like it should look, then replace the nuts... dont tighten them overly, or you will have a wavy front grill from over-torquing.

Didn't you get instructions with it ? The instructions would have had images
( like building a model car ) to show you how it went on....

WOW .. That's a first for me I think, too see that ...

It will definitely look better once it is fixed. If you liked it before, you are really going to like it now.

Guys, I am not crazy and I am a fairly mechanically inclined person as I do most all of my service on all my vehicles, but the instructions said NOTHING about removing the grille! I thought that was the way it was supposed to go, but not according to the instructions. Thanks for clearing that up and I will fix it asap! I know yall all got a good laugh out of that, so go ahead and get another because I deserve it for not doing it in spite of the instructions.
