Just from a sheer spectator point of view, I make more moaning noises when I see a KR than I do when I see a "standard" if you will SuperCrew Lariat.

Go check it out tomorrow, and tell us what you decide!

Simply put, it doesn't show it. The stitching, however, will get dirty in a hurry if you're careless...

Having black on black, you KNOW the heat issue...

Castano needs TLC... other than that (and a few here and there cosmetic issues), it's a Lariat that stands out from the crowd...

Again though, I'm VERY biased.

I would've thought the King Ranch would have the homelink standard

I have had a 05 Lariat and a 05 KR. The Lariat interior was a hell of a lot easier to deal with. However, the KR has a more comfortable feel to it. It's like sitting in a living room on wheels.

I'd wait for what you ordered. Otherwise, you have your second choice. I think teh KR leather is cool, but imo they should have changed teh other light tan leather colors etcv to match the castano. To me, the KR is a cosmetic idea that is sbjective to the eye of teh beholder.

Man, what is wrong with your keyboard. You might want to get this checked out.

If you do another post like this Dzervit is gonna give you a mule kick.

I love my FX4....but if I were given the chance to do it all over again...I would, without a doubt, purchase a King Ranch....

To make the decision even tougher. I just found out that the truck I ordered was released for shipping today. UGHHHHH.

Erick when mine was released for shipping I was told 12 days for delivery (to Mississippi)

Once you see the King Ranch ......it will be yours

When I was deciding what to do (Lariat VS King Ranch) the decision was made when I actually felt the castano seats.

the pics don't do them justice

My KR should be in next week

Me too...if I can get one in solid black and black Castano leather. If not I guess I will just have to "settle" for another plain Lariat.

If money is no object, I would go with the KR! That is one beautiful interior! As for me, money was a factor, hence the XLT!

Buck,
The KR is definitely beautiful, but it won't do anyhting for you that your XLT won't do. After buying my Lariat I realized I would have been fine with an STX. I was a sucker for the interior though. In the end it just comes down to being honest with yourself about what you really need. I know with my next truck I'm really gonna analyze everything more closely. Just my $.02
