I think it all depends on what you like. To me KR seems something my Dad would buy.

Buy the FX4 and forget about having to decide between the two.

I love my KR. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I had an FX4 with leather and it was great but the KR is really special. It is the most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned for taking trips in. Just get yourself a barrel or two of Lexol leather conditioner and you will be fine. I am real partial to the Dark Copper but the Dark Stone looks great too.

It ALL depends on your personal taste, for me the KR is just a bit too fancy for me, plus I hate leather, and with 2 kids under the age of three that leather would get it bad! My next truck will deffinetly be black/black.

I am a 2004 Lariat owner. I was at the dealer today for some warranty work and looked at a Copper Metalic KR 4x4. Let me tell you this truck was AWESUME... That copper metalic paint looks great!

When I bought my 04 SCrew I was overseas in IRAQ and ordered it sight unseen. If I'd been able to look at both the Lariat and KR, I would have probably ordered the KR. The only thing I don't care for in the KR is you can't get the 40/20/40 seat. The floor shifter looks great, but I would rather have the extra seat/room in the front.

I'd get the KR if I could only get it without those horrible colored leather seats. As an Aggie and a loyal Longhorn hater, those seats are an abominable color.

The best part about the KR is the color of the leather seats.

Get the KR, and you won't regret it.

It only costs a little bit more to go first class.

Lariat or FX4...King Ranch is just plain ugly. Ugly badging. Ugly leather. Ugly beige trim. King Ranch is just a goofy trim line for goofy cowboy wannabe's with no sense of style.

This is funny, from a guy that has a truck that looks like this....

Talk about no sence of style.

Thanks. I got 10 compliments about my truck tonight...you're the only one with anything negative to say. I guess none of them have any "sence"? King Ranch is still ugly and goofy and I'm not going to change my stance on that. Usually OLD MEN drive them. Are you old?

At least he'll post a pic of his. Where's yours bubba? Oh, and its "sense"

Seriously though, get whatever you want. I think the King Ranches LOOK nice, but the smell of cow's *** on the inside is a major deciding factor for me upon buying a truck.

I asked about getting one in "School Bus Yellow", but they said only the guys that have tires sticking out the sides can get that color.

I'm not going to engage in your personal attack on me any further. I simply stated my opinion of the King Ranch truck. It was nothing personal about you. You obviously are not confident enough in your purchase of your goofy truck to try to defend it...so you chose to attack me. A person who liked his truck would have defended it, rather than putting down the other person's truck...that is a third grade tactic and a sign of low intelligence, as is misspelling the word "sense". I don't need your, or anybody else's, approval of my truck, although I seem to get it EVERYWHERE I go. You, on the other hand, bought the F150 that cost the most and looks the worst. You, sir, must feel like the one who should be riding the short bus!
