In one of deepblues posts he stated that he had a japan made setup in his fogs and heads both. I don't recall any pics though.

This was a year or so back.

Im going to order the hid kit you got, im just not sure if I want the 5K or 6K kit. I really dont like when they look blue. Can you tell me if yours are mostly white? Asfar as your thinking on the yellow fog lights thats what I had in mind. I have ordred mine and should be here soon. Heres a link from Ebay.

Eh, as far as the blue in the light...sort of not really. A good comparison would be probably a 2005 5 Series BMW as far as color.

Honestly...I went next to a cousins car which has OEM Acura 4500k HIDs...and his were bright and yes and white! Mine on the other hand looked semi-bluish, but very white as well. Anything over 6k will be too blue. If youre looking for a straight white with no blue at all, 4500 or 5000k will do. When mine shines on a wall, it is a VERY INTENSE WHITE...when it turns on and warms up, yes...its bluish until it gets warm. When comparing the fogs to the HID's, yes..white/bluish. Its hard to say since the HIDs is such a different light that emits. Coming out of the lense from a side view, it does look a little faint blue...

Not sure if Im confusing you...but the pics in my gallery should show a pretty accurate color of the light.

Well, put in my HID's today. Pretty happy with it so far. Waiting for night time to really check them out. The only thing that I was not happy with is the instructions and the wires with no connectors from the ballast. I was thinking about buying the 5000k lights but bought the 6000k instead (might be kicking myself in the *** over this this one). Will check in tomorrow with some pics.

I agree, instructions are useless. It is easy to install, just more confusing if you use the instructions.

Did you use the wiring harness?

Yeah that beam pattern is very scattered with no even spread or consistancy. But as long as youre happy with them, thats what matters.

Tell me brother man, why would you be kicking yourself in the ***? Is it because of the blue the 6k puts out? Im having a hard time in choosing from the 5K and 6K kits. I really dont like the blue look and from what I read the 5K puts a slight yellow tone. I just want a pure white light. How much blue IYO do you think the 6k puts out? HIDPLANET any ideas on what to get?
THANKS

Well if you must get a HID rebased Kit, you should go with a 4300-5000K system because the aftermarket manufacturers marked all their bulbs with incorrect color temps. Their 6000K kits are much more blue than an actual 6000K color temp. You sacrifice useable light and overall visibility when going with higher color temps. This is why all OEM HID systems use 4100K...dont let anyone tell you otherwise.

Well, I am very happy with my purchase! If I could reorder my HID's I would go with the 5000k bulbs. The 6000k bulbs just have a hint more blue then what I wanted. Yes I used the harness. I would order HID's for any car that I will ever own with the results that I have gotten with these.

Go to Photo Galleries...you'll have to sign in and upload the photo. One you upload the photo, right click on it to get the location of the pic. Thats what you copy and paste into the forum. Your pic is currently on your PC, which is why we cant see it. When you upload, it will save it on the server...which will allow us all to see.
