Unhappy Off set on Rims I Picked

Just spoke with the Mfg of Oasis, and asked for a price quote on Oasis Titan Wheels size 23" X 10 " and he said those rims have a small off set and might stick out a little being that a 2004 F150 has a very small off set. Please help is this true I don't know much about this? He was really nice thou and offered to ship me one to see if I like the look of it.

Oasis Titan

Well what IS the offset of the wheel?! Stocker have backspacing of 5.5-6" or something like that... search the wheels forum, it's been covered again and again and again and again and again...

The only thing is they are also 10" wide so you gotta calculate the backspacing with the width of the rim also.

Yeah, what is the backspacing on them? The backspacing on the OEM 7.5 inch wheels is 5 1/2 inches.

They will be fine. The front one will stick out about 3/8ths of a inch more than the back, but its not noticible. The front tire will be about even with the plastic fender flare (it wont stick out past it) and the back will be about even with the metal fender lip. If you dont have flares (I asume by your name ID you do though) they will stick out a bit more.

Here are pics of my 24X10s but they should be about the same:
Why would you go with a 23? The 24s are only a few hundred more and would look a lot better. These trucks swallow rims and the 23s wont look that big on it.

+44 offset

im pretty sure that is the offset for 2004+ so even if you did have a +35 offset, you'll still be sticking out no matter what. RamSS/T is right, you'll be fine even if they stick out 3/8ths of an inch....as long as you dont drop the truck, then the rear metal fender lip will chop the tires up good .

It's also true that these trucks have a big wheel well and even my 24's doesnt seem to look big, 26's seem to match-up with the wheel well IMO

Oasis sales man e-mailed me that he didn't have enough wheels to make the set on 23" but he could sale me the the 24" for the same price. That's cool and all but I'm scared of the price of 4 tires for 305/35-24.

The tires would only cost a couple hundred more than the 23s...I don't think a couple hundred more is much when your already spending several thousand.

I see what your saying. It's a great deal he already knocked off 1104 off the rims. How much did you get your Kumho's for?
