I talked to the service manager at our dealership and he said he has never seen a truck come in with issues caused by a leveling kit. He did warn me about performance chips and intakes stating those are almost always rejected as warranty repairs. He said he saw one come in that blew the tips off the injectors. Once they deny the warranty they flag the vehicle so any dealership can see that the claim was rejected.

If it concerns you that much, take the level kit off.

According to my rationale, if I'm genuinly concerned about the long-term affects the level kit will have on my new truck, I'm going to gather my info before the kit is installed... not after. I'm just saying if you have the kit already and you are worried about that much.... ah, nevermind.
mw1063, I apologize for ruining your thread. Apparently, minus thinks only his comments are worthy.

minus13,
My opinion on the matter is just that I don't feel like anyone has really had a leveling kit on long enough to tell a whole lot about long term effects on their trucks....at least on these '04-05's. I mean, it's just '05 now. Some may have experienced ride problems or maybe something else that happened, but again, my opinion on that one is that those situations could possibly be due to improper installation. At one time I was interested in leveling kits, and I could not decide which to get-- steel, aluminum, or urethane. Nobody could give a valid argument over which was best, or at the least, better. You'll find a lot of that on here when people don't know much about the product, or in some cases, can't really say because they haven't had it long enough to tell. I've heard bad things about daystar and autospring both, and maybe some of the others, but at the same time I've heard even more good things about all of them too. I'd talk to a pro mechanic or a good install shop if possible, someone you can trust.
