dont worry about your cv joints they can handle the increased pinion angle from the leveling kit look at an atv they have cv joints that run at twice the angle of our trucks with no problem other than normal wear and tear

What kind of wear are you getting, I have the daystar 2.5 and no problems, nothing hits, truck rides fine, angles arent bad at all! Was this kit installed properly?

from what i can tell, from looking under my truck, is a 2-2 1/2 inch lift isn't going to change much of anything, as far as angles go. to me,on my truck, it almost looks like the half shafts are angled up a bit anyway. i just don't see how there could be any bad long term effects on the cv joints. personally, i'm going to go with the solid aluminum spacer. i think the only wear that could happen would be from using the two piece urethane spacers...which will eventually crack, especially from having the coil pushed up against the lower piece. but i still wanna see the pics

Those of you who think it still has the factory ride with a leveling kit installed should come drive my truck to do a comparison. Completely different truck... Denial is not just a river in Egypt. Good luck to all of you who leave it in there... I am glad mine is out.
Did you bother to get your front end aligned when you installed the kit? If not, then that's why your truck handled like crap. Installing a levelling kit causes the front end to get really "towed out" meaning that the front tires are aimed away from each other. Mine was so far out after the kit was installed, the alignment tech came into the waiting area and asked me if I had done something to the front end recently before he even started aligning it. After the alignment, which brought everything back into spec, the truck handles just like it did before the kit was installed. All manufacturers of levelling kit specify that the truck should be aligned once the kit is installed. If you did get it aligned when you installed the kit, you better go get it aligned again...your front tires are pointing inward toward each other now...

Nevermind...I see that you did have it aligned...now take it and get it aligned again.
