Just installed my SCT-X2 today w/custom tuning. Spent about 3-4 hours w/the vendor taking live-time data and tweaking the program.

All I can say is WOW! It completely blows away the Diablo Predator I was running. Best part was I scored it for $400 new and out of the box from BamaChips.com and received EXCELLENT customer service.

Can't wait to get the e-fan kit and pullies...

bill, another BamaChips user!!! ive known doug for a while, and that guy knows his stuff. i got one of his very first X2s and i couldnt be happier. im glad other people are starting to learn about him!!!

 

Doug is a great guy to deal with! I have been talking to him about Fords & mods since 2000 (I used to have a '99 Ranger, and was a moderator on the 3.0 Forum on Ranger Power Sports).

We spent a good amount of time this afternoon testing/tweaking/dialing in the tune for my F150. It was a learning experience for me (big-time), and we found out a lot of stuff about the ins & outs of the ECU/tuning on the 5.4L 3V motor today. Can't wait until we can get the truck on a dyno for more info/results/tweaking.....

RangerBill.....Nice rig LIke bumper guards .Curious about headers,do you notice any gains,torque,milage? like to do them myself on my daily driver screw.

 

glad to hear you are happy with your Xcal from Bama. I just ordered mine!

 

I noticed a bit of improved throttle response, improve mid-range torque in a big way, and about .5MPG (if I stay out of it...they make an AWESOME exhaust note with the CAT-back Borla!)

Hoping on some Dyno time here in the next few weeks. Will post more info on results once runs are made...
