YOMAN,

I ran mine under the frame making sure that I routed it over parts that kept it close to the frame. I took a screwdriver and pryed up the kickplate (go easy, it pops out..it is just clipped in), then I took off the plate that goes around the emergency brake release. Lift up the carpet and you will see a rubber circle seal. Pull it out and punch a small hole in it. Take the wire from the bottom of the truck and bring it through the hole, then stick the end of wire through the hole and pull slack through so wiring is tight. Pul rubber seal back in whole. Take the A arm interior off (piece that has the handle by windshield). The way you remove it is take off the 2 small oblong covers. Take a nutdriver and take out the screws. Piece will come right off. You should be able to run the wire from the floor up behind the seal and up to the window. I conected the display unit to the other wire and left the connection inside the A-arm piece. There was enough slack left over to tuck up under the headliner and make it over the the mirror. You will have to adjust here and there to get it the way you want it. Taking your time you can have it done in an hour. Hope this helps

Don't know how I missed this thread before! I just ordered a unit for my Screw. Woman I'm dating will be happy when I get this since I backed into her garage door just the other week. No harm to her door but more important no harm to my truck!!!

Check out my gallery for my pics of my wiring. I think my writeup is somewhere in this thread or forum as well.

red whire goes to the red/black or it may be pink/black backup light. Black wire needs to be grounded. Thats it.

Can you hook up the digital display to a factory sensor system?

I ordered it last weekend (shipped Monday from HK) and it arrived TODAY !!

the weather has been rain all day until mailman delivered the package to me and it stopped! so it let me play with my truck and installed LED reverse sensors for about 2.5 hours before it downpour rain again! WHEW!

I only got 2 instead of 4 cuz dont want to drill into metal bumper.not up for it.

I wired it inside side of the frame till driver side and wired it thru rubber and TA DA!

it works really good after test..its function good!

Where do you mount the brain?

Me, next to driver side frame(outside) bottom of bed with plastic wrapped cuz i was not sure if its waterproof or not, tied it up w/ zip.

I m curious- IS IT WATER PROOF ??

I m happy!

Just mount the brain inside the space where the tailight goes, that it the best place since water will not be able to get to it.

I wish someone would take a picture of how they mounted it inside the tail light assembly. i tried and couldn't get mine to fit in there. I have a bed rug so I just mounted mine on the side of the bed behind bedrug. Not where I wanted to put it but couldn't get it to set in light assembly. Take a pic so I can see how it was done.

Thanks,

Brian

SENSORS

Thanks for that link, I ordered one from the seller last night!

Does anyone have a picture (or could someone take one) of where they mounted the sensors on a 99-03 bodystyle bumper? I have a 01, and want to see where everyone else is putting it on the bumper? I know it says a flat spot, but I would like a visual if possible? (I ordered the 4 sensor drill in kit)

Or should I start a new thread for visibility?

thanks in advance!!
