6 of 8 test driven had the vibe.

I am going before the DSB for the vibe in my 2004 F-150. In the hopes that I would have a favorable ruling and they would buy back my truck, I test drove 8 supercrew F-150's all Lariat or FX4's. 6 of the 8 all had the vibe. The vibe on the 2 of the 3 FX4's was so bad that I had to pull over. I was the first to test drive these vehicles since delivery from Ford. All the problem vehicles were made in Kansas City. The 2 Lariats that didn't have the vibe were made in Dearborn Michigan. I talked to the owner of the dealership and stated that 2 out 5 F-150's that he receives from FORD are junk and that his dealership throws $1000's to try to make them right. Has any one else had such similar problems with the vibe issue? I really want another F-150, especially since I have the A-plan, but this vibe issue is literally driving me crazy! Why can't Ford get this right.

I also find that hard to believe. I've driven several Screws and Scabs and not one! Not one had a vibe problem. Granted they were all new 05s but 6 out of 8? Sorry but I find that highly unlikely. Are you sure your not a Titan Troll?

Ever wonder why Nissan named their trucks Titans? Because they still came up short of making a Triton!

They placed the dampner kit in my truck today, and I can't tell the difference. I still have a bad hood vibration. The dealer is blaming this on my ford low profile bug shield. I also have a steering wheel nibble and my front seats rock, rattle and roll, in a bad way. How many people were able to get Ford to buy back their truck? and how many steps did it take before going before the DSB?
are these the 'vibration' problems you're talking about? What are the seats doing exactly? Take the darn bugshield off already for the love of god if you're that concerned about the hood, you've been complaining about it on and off for months. Steering nibble can be fixed. Most likely it is a tire issue. Have they changed your rack? Search tool is your friend.

What exactly is the manifestation of the 'vibration' in all the trucks on the lot?

Do you know what the word 'vibration' means?

Ford has it right!

My truck was built in Kansas 9-03 and it’s been trouble free.

I also find it hard to believe that any dealership would make a statement like that. My KC truck is fine, no vibe.

I don't believe that at all. When I bought my '04 1 year and 4 months ago, I test drove at least 6 models over a week, ranging from XLT to Lariat. Not one had any vibe whatsoever. My XLT has been solid, built Nov. '03.

I agree he sounds like a troll but..... I have been on here long enough for all to know I am NOT a troll. I did have two 04 screws from the KC plant and both had ALL the vibe traits, the second one was bought back. My 05 is from the Detroit plant and with 9000 miles in three months is has NO vibe at all, absolutely perfect. Who knows?

Maybe he's just a really really sensitive person. I remember the fairy tale of The Princess and the Pea.

I went back and read the 7 or so post he responded to before this thread. It does sound like he has a vibe problem in his truck, and it does sound like he does have an F-150, but he's lieing out of his *** when he says 6 out of 8 trucks had the vibe, so that was a bad move on his part by lieing.

If your truck has a vibe, don't go out and say all most of the trucks you test drove it had a vibe, and that 2 of them made you have to pull over! I mean come on! Are we that stupid to believe you?? NO way would a salesman tell you that 2 of the trucks "are junk" and to have the dealer fix them" come on man, who do we look like here? Sorry to hear about the vibe YOU have in your truck, but dont open up your month and say A LOT of B/S!
