The law plainly states the two conditions where it doesn't apply.
The ADA would cover it even if it wasn't already in there.
On weed, no not in the law.

The DMV (which has far more power, under the state laws, than our Guv'ner) doesn't make, or interpet, the law. Thankfully the judges, and the cops have a little more common sense, and less feeling of 'godhood' that the DMV people.

Well I found a shop that will do it. They require you to sign a waiver stating that you know it's illegal. I have an appointment next week.
$70 bucks for both windows in the front. Probably going to go around 30% or so.

I had the fronts on mine done at 30%, the darkest legally at the time. Since then, Georgia's thrown out the tint law, and plus about a year later, mine is bubbling a little at the corners. I guess if I really got inspired, I'd get them redone at 20%, but there's no real need for it now I guess.

True to that Thumper! I had 2% (industrial/home tint) on an MR2 I used to have--no hassles. My Corvette has 8% (Limo) on it right now--again never any hassles. Trouble is, at night it is near impossible to see out of them---especially the older I get I have 20% on the 150 now--matches good and I can see ok at night. Truthfully I am going to get the Vette re tinted in the near future to something a bit lighter. Anyway--bottom line, in Floirda it is very rare to get stopped just for tint--now if you are going 120 MPH--then you could also call some attention to your tint

Thats a really good price. Mine is going to be $149 for the front two windows at 35% and then $60 for the "eyebrow" thing that goes on the top of the windshield. I know I'm probably getting ripped off big time, but I can't find anywhere else that will do it for cheaper.

I think I paid $65 for my 15%.

Its funny how 05 150 KR has 27% and it looks like it matches the back perfectly. While I have 15% and it looks like it matches perfectly.

the reason for the waiver, window tint has embeded code to link it to the dealer warranty/claims to the manufacturer.and to obsalve the installer from liability.also ammonia water spray bottle removes the glue on windows after you remove the film.banners cost $20-30, (windshield replacement) insurance companies will remberse $15-20 to replace banner. 2 styles of banners the (up/smile) which takes 2 cuts and follows the top of the windshield line and the other the froun 1 cut and is what most do faster easyer.cost in az. 04/05 f150 banner $20-30,screw $220-240,excab $160-180,reg $120-140. some charge $15-25 for a slider i never did. also factory tinted glass has no uv/heat reduction capibilities you still need tint for that its just smoked glass. just thought id share M.W.

Wow, I never knew that. I thought the smoked glass did. Well MN doesn't get much for sun, so I'm mostly going for the look, just tinting the fronts and doing the eyebrow will be enough for now. I am assuming since they're charging me a butt load that I'm getting that metalized tint that lasts really long. I'm calling my rep tomorrow to verify. I know my pricing is probably outrageous at 60 for the eyebrow, and 140 for the front two windows at 35%. I have a tan interior so the front two windows hopefully won't look too dark and I can avoid getting pulled over for it since it's illegal in MN. As for the eyebrow I have no idea what cut they're doing. But if it looks like crap I'm sending it back for them to fix.
