You know people get banned that are members for a long time from that site just for questioning the moderator, or going to another site period. They ban at least 3-4 members a week.
He's speaking of a 'titan' forum...

Welcome to f150online.com. I ban one or so per month max...

what amazes me is that g35TX keeps trying to get in the last word on the moderator.

Ummm. hello, he's the boss. Perhaps you're not understanding this.

You know, it's not that I'm the boss... I'm just a member here that is tasked with taking care of a few additional items above and beyond the average user.

All I wanted him to say was 'sorry, didn't mean to rattle the cage here... I'll talk about Titans less...".

Instead, he continued to press and press. I have pretty lengthy patience as I've warned him several time prior to today... I'm going to stop worrying about it. While I hate that it came to this, it is one less thorn.

Yeah! Thanks RP! Let's not forget webmaster aka "Steve" as he's called in the real world. Without him these forums wouldn't exist period!

BTW RP, thanks for keeping those Titan trolls to a minimum. That way we have more bandwidth to discuss real trucks!

RP I've been the moderator of many sites over the years as well as admined a number of chat sites. I even made the mistake of owning my own chat site once. Never again will I own one. Moderate possibly. I do also agree that you do a excellent job. Your better at containing your temper then I myself am and you also give more warnings. I usually allow one and sometimes not even that.

Thanks guys... I'm certainly not looking for a pitty party here... just trying to put it out on the line.

I try to do an honest job here and keep the twits to a minimum but, it's a thankless job for the most part. While g35 is the least of my worries, he's probably the first person that I've snubbed because they just wouldn't open their eyes to the fact that this is a Ford based board. I'm glad he's passionate about his Titan but, that being said, he's probably better suited at one of the boards where the moderators ban 3-4 people per week just 'because'...

I don't mind other brands here; it keeps the banter witty at times but, when you continually push and push despite the best efforts of others to express their concern about the ways that you're rocking the boat, there comes a time to say goodbye. That time was today. This boat rocks less now. It's easier to steer on a smooth lake.

Opinion based on my 04 F150 STX

I have driven my 2004 F150 STX back and forth to Texas twice within tha last two years and drove it around there all summer. It is not a great ride for long trips.60x40 split seats are to firm. you sit on them not in them. Wind noise is less than my last 150 but not as quiet as the ads make you think. Ride is good though, sports car firm and very stable even towing. Have had a lot of rear end problems to date (clutch packs and bearings). nothing related to wear and tear they say, faulty parts are their answer to my problems. Just a weak point in the drive train, something to be aware of. Turning radius is not as good as I expected. I still look like I just got my license when I am in a shopping mall parking lot with this truck. my 74 F150 was better and it was longer. go figure. Front break dust builds is fast. consider replacing the pads if you want to run custom wheels. All in all it's not a bad truck, but I dont think I would buy another one.

I've owned many fords over the years. Both trucks and cars. I've also owned chebbys, pontiacs, and one olds. I've purchased just one import which was purchased back by nissan in 1985. It was a POS from the get go. I'll never own another. I'll keep this 05 F150 until someone somewhere makes a better vehicle. 28 yrs best selling truck in its class Best selling vehicle last year in Texas above all else Why has Ford sold the best selling truck for 28 years? Because Chevy, Dodge, Nissan, Toyota etc doesn't have a clue how to build trucks. Trying not to be to long winded here but let me tell yall a little story. Right out of high school back in 1980 I went to work for Brown and Root at a Exxon Plastics plant in Mt Belview <sp> Tx. They used mostly ford F150's. At the maintanence shop they also had 3 Chevy C1500's. All 3 were parked there because they had all broken down. Mostly front ends worn out with other problems. These Chevys had less then 10K miles on them. Most of the Fords there were around 5 yrs old with well over 100K on 300 CID 6 Cylinders with 3 speed column shift trannys. Most had never seen any suspension work needed or anything other then normal oil changes etc. When our shifts were done and we'd all walk out to the parking lot you would see at least 90% Fords out there. The point I'm trying to make here is that these guys that worked in the oil fields and needed dependability knew that they could only rely on Ford Trucks. I never did see any Nissan or Toyota or Dodges there. For the 2 years I was there I never saw those 3 Chevys out of the maintenence area and saw those old Fords being overloaded, Bounced around over unimproved terrible road conditions. Getting buried to the doors in mud and still running every day. Sorry for the long post but give me Fords or make me walk

Im just curious, when you ban someone on the site. Does it ban their IP address and username, or just the username?
