Good post.
Actually my wife has a Toyota Highlander.....she's the Asian car lover in the family.....BUT I can't believe it she's fallen in love with the new Ford 500. So, maybe we can get two domestics in our garage before long.

Correct me if im wrong but werent you banned from this website for starting flame wars troll? The post was not about the Titan as you know this is NOT a titan website. The guy was simply asking for opinions on the new F-150 if you didnt catch that. So why would you even bring up anything about the titan when you know its just going to start a flame war and make more headaches for our awesome moderators. Any who...We all have great trucks no matter the make. I cant wait until i have my truck paid off so i can step up to the new f-150's

let the troll spout off all he wants. It's very entertaining to listen to the uneductaed, unknowledgable, "I drive my mom's camry when I dont take the bus" crap coming from his mouth.

You can go to any Titan form and read post after post from guys who have blown their rear ends towing as little as 3000-5000 lbs. The drivelines are SERIOUSLY undersized for a truck. I'm not saying this just because I can't stand the Titan.

For towing/hauling your better off with either a Ford, Dodge, even Chevy/GMC would be a more reliable choice.
A guy on this site test drove pretty much all the full size trucks and he was a FORD owner which bad mouthed the Titan till it was tiring. He then had a friend that was looking for a truck that could tow 6000 lb without a problem. The Titan did it the easiest out of ALL the trucks. The F150 had the most trouble. The HEMI and Titan did it the best. It was posted in vs all area a few months ago.

A respected member changed his mind and was sad that he bad mouthed it before he actually knew how it performed.

The only reason the rear is going on some titans is because it was filled to low of fluid from the factory. Low fluid, means heat, means wear, means failure. Mine hsa had 0 problems since I bought it now with 15k of miles and many towings. I put AMsoil in the reare right away.

TBird wasn't talking about the engine. Its not about how easy it tows, but about towing it without the rearend imploding. No one disputes the power of the Endurance.

Like I said, the only reason the rear end goes is the reason I posted in my other post. It's not because of large towing, its because of underfilled rear ends. I have towed over 9000 lb on the Titan, and it does it so easy. My friends Lariat F150 has a much harder time, and its hard for it to even keep the speed going.

MJS--please explain a bit further on the 12-14 MPG on your 350. Is it a 4x4? I was LUCKY to get around 10 with my 4x4 F250 V-10. Of course, that is combined driving. When pulling a trailer I got around 8 MPG. I kept farily close tabs on this because it is used for my business, and gas is an expense. Truck was serviced at the regular intervals. I love my new 150--for the trailers we have (12' and (3) 16' enclosed and 1 16' flatbed) it pulls them fine. I get around 12-13 overall MPG. Now I did not buy the 150 for gas savings for sure, but I know for a fact it does better than the gasoline 250/350's.

You drive a Titan and this is a Ford board. Many of your posts are fair and you back up many points with facts and you do so politely, but I still wonder what pleasure you derive from telling us your Titan is better. Whether its true or not is irrelevant.

And what were you pulling to wiegh that much? I mean ive had loads of old iron with a 20ft trailer to wiegh just over 9,000 lbs but i can at least prove it with my wiegh slips. What were you pulling that could wiegh that much? And my 4.6 was pulling that as well. Lets see how long your titan lasts pulling that much. BTW...what kind of gas mileage were you getting when you pulled that much? How fast were you pulling it? Just curious to see what kind of mileage you were getting towards mine.

FYI the Titan is forsale. Going to get something more economical for a while when I can sell it.
