What were you pulling that could wiegh that much? And my 4.6 was pulling that as well. Lets see how long your titan lasts pulling that much. BTW...what kind of gas mileage were you getting when you pulled that much? How fast were you pulling it? Just curious to see what kind of mileage you were getting towards mine.
I was pulling a CAT on a 27ft trailer.

8-10 mpg depending on terrain for gas milege. I ran it at 70 mph without any problems in 4th gear.

rhyno1,

I had a 99 F250 V10, and 02 F350 V10 and and 03 F350 V10. All got about the same mileage. All were 4x4s. The 99 and 02 were supercabs and the 03 was a crewcab. I would usually run about 11.5 average in town and around 13.5 on the highway. Towing my Bobcat, I would run at 10mpg. My Dad also has an 03 Supercab 4x4 V10 and gets around the same. If you drive with a heavy foot on the V10, the mileage will drop.

I was completely satisfied with the V10s power and mileage. Should have kept it.

Does this mean that you're going to stop coming over here shaking your Titan Pom-Poms and, ultimately, leading to a number of threads getting closed?

MJS,

Thanks for the reply--most of my driving is city and backroads, and I am guilty of the heavy foot For what I do now though--the 150 is better. I do alot less towing around trailers and more driving around checking jobs/administrative crap. I loved the 8' bed and capabilities of the 250--the new 150's are just sooooo much smoother. I know it's a truck and not a sedan, but I guess we are getting spoiled as the manufacturers are getting better with ride qualities, etc. Luckily, we still have the 250--it handles any of the tasks we throw at it. I read in another post that the SuperCrew 150's will have a 6.5' bed option next year---hmmmmmmm......I may have to sell my truck and get one with a 6.5' bed.....

Sorry to say I haven't caused any of your threads to get closed. It's your own users that cause that.

Well if you want to get technical it is you who caused many threads to be closed. If you wouldn't of came to F-150 Online waiving your Titan pom poms at every chance you got, these threads wouldn't be closed.

While this will be my last post concerning this issue before going into the ADMIN CONTROLS section for your profile, I'll comment anyway...

Do you really think that all of the FORD BASED THREADS where you've come in and done your Titan Cheerleading would have been closed if you had kept your Nissan megaphone on the sidelines?

This is a Ford board. This will always be a Ford board. I have very few problems within this forum however, the continual Titan 'rah rah rah' chant ALWAYS causes me a problem. Remove the cause of the problem and I remove the problem...
