Gas Mileage

I could live with the 41.1 average for the trip!

I seem to average around 15.2 around home with a mix of city and highway driving...but my foot is a little heavy I like to hear my V8.

I am. I'm sure they would make some sort of engine that could tow more than just a paper clip... maybe a Pop Tab

That is the beauty of the future of hybrid's. They will be more powerful than just gas engines and get much better gas mileage. Look at the Honda Accord Hybrid, it is more powerful and gets better mileage than the gas powered only Accord. Chevy even has a Silverado hybrid for sale currently. It sucks, but at least its a start.
I give Ford a few more years, and we will see a hybrid F-150!

I'm pleased with my return trip milage coming back from Gatlinburg. I kept the speed at 80 to 83/84 mph most of the time (watching for cops and good hiding places for them ) and I averaged 16.7 mpg I had reset my gauge once I hit the highway. Outside temp was about 45 to start around 65 when I got home. Road was interstate with rolling hills and 1 mountain (around Jelico, TN). But mostly light rolling hills - not completely flat.
