1714 Micro Tuner ????

My truck has been tuned about two months ago and I don't see myself returning it to the original program for any reason.
  • Can I tune someone else's truck providing I overwrite my truck's original program thereby deleting it?
  • Do I have to return my truck to stock before programming a different truck?
  • How many trucks can I program if I'm willing to lose the OEM settings?

Its locked to your VIN, only you can use it. Unless you gave up your tune, reset the unit so that you had your factory tune back installed, then you can use it on another truck.

I know, at least my co-workers can stop bugging me to tune their trucks. They just have to fork up the cash just like I did.

So I can buy the tuner now, run the tune on my current truck and then if I buy a new truck next year I remove the tune and use the same tuner on the new truck? If so, then you just sold me on a tuner.

I think the 1714 will only work on the '04. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
